How has WellSky International improved patient safety and care across the health sector?
WellSky is the market leader for Pharmacy Stock Control solutions and EPMA within the acute care sector. Together with Closed Loop Administration and Supply solutions, the goal of the WellSky product suite is to reduce the risk of error through early detection, prevention and automation.
What has been your greatest achievement to date? And were there any measurable outcomes that accompanied this achievement?
WellSky has many great achievements to talk about and we suggest you come and see us to hear more! But to pick only one – WellSky Pharmacy Stock control is currently live on the entire Western Cape of South Africa. A population of 6 million people using 45 hospitals and over 80 clinics, all with a single WellSky Pharmacy solution. The significance of this achievement is the huge reduction in prescription forgery and double usage; our cloud based solution verifies the authenticity of the prescription and voids it after usage so that the medication cannot be collected a second time at another hospital. This helped reduce crime and drug misuse.
