Who are Pentland Medical?
We are a UK-based distributor, selling a range of unique and patented devices and consumable products in the UK Healthcare market. All of our products are carefully selected to ensure that we are offering the highest quality with an emphasis on improving patient safety and also staff safety. Our partner company Innovel are working on production of several unique new patented medtech products for the global healthcare market. Pentland will be the UK distributor for these exciting new products.
How has Pentland Medical improved patient safety and care across the health sector?
We have introduced several unique products to UK Hospitals which have made a genuine difference to patient outcomes.
What has been your greatest achievement to date? And were there any measurable outcomes that accompanied this achievement?
We have worked alongside the NHS now for over 20 years and continue to enjoy a healthy relationship with what we consider to be the best healthcare organisation in the world. There has been challenging times over the past few years but we have continued to supply trusts nationwide with gold standard products and good service whilst providing long term value to the NHS. We have measured this through continued growth and strong relationships with Trusts across the UK.
How many organisations/clients currently utilise the service/solution across the UK?
We supply the majority of NHS Hospital Trusts with a diverse range of products in Operating Theatres, Endoscopy, Gastroenterology and General Wards.
Is there anything you would like to make delegates aware of ahead of the Improving Patient Safety & Care 2020 conference on 13th February?
We are working with several new products that have the potential to revolutionise healthcare. These products exploit the use of new and exciting digital technology which will ensure greater efficiencies for staff working in the NHS.
What do you feel are the key points delegates need to digest when considering a partnership with Pentland Medical?
